If you think that a storm cannot cause much damage to your roof, keep reading. You might be very surprised at how powerful Mother Nature is!

Winter storms can cause havoc on your roof. The weight of snow along with fluctuating temps is enough to cause damage. When sleet builds up in sub-zero temperatures, the act of water freezing on areas of your roof can cause shingles to crack and gutters to burst. If you experience a bad winter storm, call Middle Creek Roofing at 1-717-949-2414 to come out and assess your roof.

HAIL DAMAGE

Hail can rain down in unimaginable sizes and can range in size from peas to baseballs. If you had a hailstorm in your area calling a roofing professional is essential so that you can have a roof inspection completed. The force that hail comes down is enough to dent your vehicles, just think about what it can do to your roofing system! One of the most common things to be damaged after a hailstorm on your roof is the flashing, which over time if not replaced can be an issue and cause water to intrude into your home.

STRONG WINDS

Stong winds can cause damage to your home even if it was not a tornado or hurricane that came through. One of the largest issues that wind causes is shingles to blow off your roof or lift up and break. Once you have missing and or cracked shingles on your roof, water is able to enter the substrate and can cause interior water leaks, insulation damage, mold and roof rot. Strong winds also can cause trees to fall and tree limbs to be thrown around.

HEAVY RAINS

Heavy and persistent rain can cause your shingles to lose their granules over time. If you are experiencing a season with an overabundance of rain it would not hurt to call your roofing professional to have them come out and assess your roof for damage.

The Benefits of a Professional Roof Inspection are as follows:

-They are able to assess invisible damage

-They do not ignore smaller issues

-They know what to look for in regard to water damage

-Homeowner saves money over time by detecting issues early

Got a recommendation to go with MCR, we didn’t know our home came without a ridge cap installed, til the rain started coming into the house. These guys were so quick the estimates, returning phone calls and getting the work done. We got a ridge vent and cap replacement. Didn’t need to spend more than what just needed repaired. Will be recommending them to everyone. Will be back in the future for more work. Thank you!

The entire team at Middle Creek Roofing was phenomenal. They replaced our roof in Lancaster, PA and we could not be more satisfied with the result. Janine made sure we were updated every step of way so we knew exactly what to expect and when to expect it. When the Crew arrived on install day they knew all the details of the project. They were kind, courteous of our surroundings, and very tidy while working. The clean up was flawless. 10/10 I would recommend Middle Creek Roofing for your next roof replacement!

House located in Bernville. Received a shingle replacement. They did a great job! They were super professional, very respectful of the property, cleaned up everything afterwards, and I can’t believe how fast they were. The flashing around the chimney and windows looks excellent, and the shingles are lying down the way they’re supposed to! Matt Tilley was our very professional and personable contact person. He got up on the roof and took videos of everything so we could really see what the issues were, and then he explained the whole roofing process really well to us. He also provided a follow up video so that we could see what the finished product looked like from up on the roof, which was really gratifying and helpful. We are very happy with this company and our new roof!
